03 Feb Dry Flies on Feathered Hook
In the past week, with nicer weather and temperatures in the low 80’s, the Calibaetis mayflies have been fairly substantial. Along with the Calibaetis, the yellow sally’s are showing up in abundance as well. Needless to say dry fly action is picking up tremendously. We are also starting to see the hoppers out and about on the Spring Creeks. PMD’s and Drakes are soon to follow, ramping up the dry fly action accross all of our waters. If you like to “spot and stalk” large trout with dries, all of our water will provide an opportunity to test your skills.
