This wild trout fishery is a haven for Brown and Rainbow trout in the 14 to 24 inch class. The New Fork River is challenging for all fly fishers, but the rewards of trophy trout are great. In spring and early summer, streamer and nymph fishing can be productive and as summer comes on, the dry fly action gets exciting and produces some trophy trout.
