Ham’s Fork River

Ham’s Fork starts high in the mountains of the Bridger-Teton National Forest with an elevation of around 10,000 feet. It is a small stream in its headwaters with several small tributaries.

As it runs through the private ground, you will find plenty of smaller Brook trout, Cutthroat trout, Rainbow trout and even some Brown trout. You will find this river winding though willows, deep undercut banks and flowing into riffles with deep corner holes. The fish on this upper section of Ham’s Fork River are hungry and when matching one of the many hatches that come off during the day, the fish are plentiful and happy to take your fly.
